Nomakanjani is a Zambian NGO that uses theatre, dance and music to educate Zambia’s youth about the issues that affect their lives and their communities. The dynamic group of performers use the arts as a tool for creating positive change, delivering vital life and behavioral changing messages to its audiences in an original and entertaining form.

Nomakanjani can provide drama, cultural dance and music for any event, writing to educate or entertain their audiences, hopefully both. The group writes, choreographs and composes different shows for every client so each performance or project is unique.

Nomakanjani have over 100 years of collective experience in the arts in Zambia. The vibrant theatre company utilises its knowledge of traditional Zambian and Sub-Saharan dance and its unique contemporary edge to deliver powerful messages and create memorable and distinctive performances every time they appear.
